Brisket
One of the best bbq I've had in Dallas. It's so tender, so much flavor and smokiness. The brisket and the pulled pork have so much moisture in I never had a dry piece.
Onion Rings
These are fried to excellence. The batter takes to the surface of the onion allowing it to blister and split to reveal the tender rings. A golden brown coat, with hardly any portion going darker than an amber hue. Topped with a pinch of flakey salt, these are the onion rings that will bring you back to the days of the rodeo and state fairs. The only downside with ordering these as a side is that I was too darn full to eat them all!
Jalapeno cheddar sausage
Exceptional sausage on display here. With each bite, the cheese explodes in your mouth alongside the fatty juices of the sausage. The cheese tries its hardest to counter the spice of the jalapeno, but that's a losing battle. Which I personally think is a good thing. The spice isn't overwhelming, but it gives you a chance to take a break from the food (wipe your brow, say "whew", ect.) and talk with the company you came with or found around the table before you brave another bite. However, if you're a real BBQ lover who loves their spice, you might want to kick it up a notch. Corner's BBQ sauce paired with this meat jumps the spice up plenty for those who want to have a bit more sweat than what the Texas sun can provide. Of the three meats I chose, this was my favorite.
BBQ Plate - 3 Meat
With menu items like this available at restaurants, it's nearly impossible to give a one and done review. Corner makes this even harder by having four meats on the menu and a whopping ten sides available - If you're trying to truly experience all the combos that Corner has to offer, you'll be coming back most every weekend to try it all! And I for one am not complaining!
Breakfast Taco
We randomly passed by when we saw corner bbq shack. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious! Im very picky about my tacos and i was very impressed. We've visited every week ever since!
Brisket
I flew out from Las Vegas to visit my Brother in Texas and we hit up all the BBQ places in Texas. The BBQ we received was fantastic! We got a tour of the facility and some of the best brisket I have ever had! Will have to fly back out to Texas soon to grab another meal. Not only was the food epic but the hospitality was top notch!
Pulled pork
I'd argue that this dish offers the most insight into the methodology behind Corner's cooking. Taking a bite of this pulled pork tells the story of how they make Corner, Corner. Each bite leaves you with the thought of the process used to create this dish - more than that, it leaves with you the image of a hardworking team who has been up since the wee hours in the midst of billowing smoke making sure that we the patrons get to experience full plates and stomachs in a country bar setting. To give praise to their in-house created BBQ sauce, add a splash of it onto this pork and you've ascended. You've got the perfect vehicle for the accumulation that is Corner's BBQ.
Brisket
Somehow; eternally juicy. Whether you are getting it from Corner's opening hours or if you've made it to Corner's in time for the night time jamborees - you can expect to be served up some of the most perfectly moist brisket in all of the DFW. As a bonus, the brisket flavour lingers with you well past a swig of South African Windhoek Lager (available at the bar) or whatever drink you'll have.
BBQ Plate- 2 Meat
BEST BBQ AROUND! My husband and I were first introduced to Corner BBQ Shack last year. We absolutely love the food and we visit their shop every two weeks to get fresh meat for our family. The quality of their food and meat is 10 out of 10.
Chef's Table
Such a fun experience. Would absolutely recommend - I'll be bringing some friends next time, although we made some new ones while we were there.
